About Wild Plum

My love affair with anything and everything vintage began at an early age. I bought my first antique piece of furniture with my own money when I was 12 and it sits purposefully in our home today.

I believe in the unexpected, the cast-offs and the much-loved pieces of long ago. I imagine them with new life, new purpose and new homes. I am inspired by the history of these pieces, the story they tell and the new stories they will make.

Wild Plum began as a dream that one day I would have my own store. I was lucky enough for that to happen in Naples, Maine. For seven seasons I operated a store out of our historically restored barn and loved every minute of it. The community was so welcoming and encouraging. I loved going to work every day, creating vignettes here and there, visiting with returning customers and making new friends along the way. Our daughter, Isabella was born right before we opened for our second season and has been in the thick of things ever since.

We moved to Southern California at the end of 2010 and we have been overwhelmed by the wonderful welcome Wild Plum has received.
